Adoption
Qn.
Dear Team,We want to adopt a child legally from a single mother (1st divorce case pending in court) who has a child from her partner and he has died few days before the birth of child. Since the couple decided to get marry after the birth of child the enter into a MOU type affidavit that child belongs to him and he will marry and accept the child. Hence they registered themselves in hospital for delivery of baby in fathers name and the mother also used her boyfriends surname and her new first name. Now he has died, His family is denying her acceptance as they were not aware about it. hence she doesnt have his brith certificate.Mother's new name is on birth certificate ie. of fathers surname. But mother doesn't have any proof of that name. all the documents are of old name.1st divorce case is still pending court.Kindly guide how can we still proceed with adoption.Regards **
